Dr. Jenna Price
Jenna Price ND, is a Niagara local who grew up in the small town of Port Colborne. Her passion for medicine and helping others began at a very young age where she would find herself lost in books for hours on end researching different illnesses and conditions. She completed her 4 year HBSc degree at McMaster University where she focused on topics such as cellular biology, immunology and molecular genetics. During this process, she shadowed medical doctors at the St. Catharines General Hospital in an attempt to find the medical avenue that resided with her most. That is when she came across her passion for naturopathic medicine and aspired to become a naturopathic doctor. Spending an ample amount of time getting to know her patient’s health history, in addition to every and any concern in order to get to the root cause of illness, is something she values most about naturopathic medicine. Combining this approach with well-researched treatment plans is very important to her.
Immediately after graduating from McMaster University, Jenna went on-to study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, located in North York, ON. It was here she recently successfully completed the four year Doctor of Naturopathy program. She spent 1 year as an intern at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and the Brampton West Urgent Care Centre.
When Jenna isn’t lost in her studies, she enjoys spending time with her partner and dog outdoors and near the water. Her hobbies include surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, volunteering at local animal shelters and riding dirt bikes.
Jenna is passionate about getting to the root cause and improving her patient’s quality of life when it comes to all concerns and conditions but she has a special interest in:
- Women’s health and hormone regulation (thyroid, menstrual concerns, menopause, fertility)
- Mental health (stress, anxiety, low mood)
- Digestive issues
- Migraines and headaches
- Weight management
- Diabetes and inflammatory conditions.
Jenna’s primary goal is to ensure you feel heard and guide you in reaching your health goals using an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan.
