Katie Gibson

Registered Physiotherapist & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Chiropractic Fonthill, Physiotherapy Fonthill, Acupuncture Fonthill, PRP Fonthill, Dry Eye Fonthill

Katie pursued a career in physiotherapy to combine her love for teaching, exercise, and creating human connection. Katie’s number one goal is getting you back to your number one goal – whether it be related to sport, work, or every day activity. She looks forward to learning what is most meaningful to you and co-creating a treatment plan to guide you towards your rehab goals. Katie utilizes a holistic approach, typically involving individualized exercise programming, empowering education, and evidence-based manual therapy.

Katie earned her Bachelor degree with Honors Specialization in Kinesiology from Western University in 2018 while working alongside the Western Women’s Rugby Team as their student trainer. She continued her studies at Western and completed her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2021. Katie values continuing her educational development with a particular interest in strength and conditioning as well as women’s health and wellness. You and Katie may be a great fit if you are seeking post-surgical rehabilitation, sustained a sports-related injury, curious about exercise and pain management for osteoarthritis and/or osteoporosis, looking for prenatal and/or postpartum care, preparing for labour and delivery, or experiencing pelvic dysfunction (i.e. incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse).

Outside of the clinic, you will find Katie exploring local trails and paths with her red lab, Abbey. She enjoys reading, cooking, and baking. Her favourite ways to stay active include playing hockey, baseball, and golf.

Katie looks forward to working with you and getting you back to (and better for) what you love!
