Katie pursued a career in physiotherapy to combine her love for teaching, exercise, and creating human connection. Katie’s number one goal is getting you back to your number one goal – whether it be related to sport, work, or every day activity. She looks forward to learning what is most meaningful to you and co-creating a treatment plan to guide you towards your rehab goals. Katie utilizes a holistic approach, typically involving individualized exercise programming, empowering education, and evidence-based manual therapy.

Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2018. During her senior year, she was a student trainer for the Women’s Varsity Rugby team. She continued her studies at Western and completed her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2021. Katie values continuing her educational development with a particular interest in exercise prescription and women’s health. Most recently, Katie has obtained training to assess and treat individuals experiencing concussion, pelvic floor dysfunction and/or incontinence, and chronic pain.

Outside of the clinic, you will find Katie with her Red Lab, Abbey. She enjoys time with family and friends, cooking, and spending weekends at the cottage. Her favourite ways to stay active include hiking the Bruce Trail, golfing, and playing hockey.
